Sophia Han is a lighting designer originally from Korea and based in New York. She works primarily with blown glass, developing sculptural lighting pieces that respond to architectural space.

She is currently a Product Designer at Shakúff, where she designs lighting collections and site-specific installations in close collaboration with studios, engineers, and artisans, shaping concept, form, and material direction through hands-on involvement in fabrication.

In summer 2025, Han released her first lighting collection, Tamar Grande, a sculptural series that expands rippled glass into dramatic, large-scale compositions inspired by the movement of ocean currents. Additionally, her work has been publicly installed and recognized internationally, including an Interior Design Magazine Award for Hanji #2.
